Thanks to the Expo Organizers and volunteers. I believe this was a fine event.  I did enjoy the Monorail to see parts of Vegas you don't always get to see :-)

At the time, a surf shop called NAGANUMA was a popular spot for us. My friends once told me that An An Magazine, a well-known Japanese women's lifestyle publication, planned to feature a piece on me and another sailor enjoying the beach with our friends. I’ve kept a photo of the magazine page, which shows me—with a beard—looking to my right, alongside the words "LOVE TO SURF!" in English. The issue was published in either 1974 or 1975.
