Watered down
From 2002 through 2008, Boeing reduced its water consumption by 4.2 billion gallons – a huge splash in savings. The push to find new ways to use less water is part of a Shared Services Water Conservation initiative and is driven in part by technology that is being utilized in everything from company restrooms and lawn irrigation to huge water cooling towers at Boeing buildings.
Waterside Asset Management:
From our perspective, we are excited to be a part of the overall reduction in the Total Cost of Operation for our customers. The use of our natural sustainable green chemistry is beginning to make a difference in large industrial customers as well as smaller institutional clients. We are seeing an additional benefit going forward as municipal purveyors are encouraging their customers to use more and more "reclaim" water for their facilities. WCTI Technology welcomes the use of this waste stream. Unlike chemical treatment programs, we do not need expensive post or pretreatment procedures since we are addressing the tower discharge up front by not having the need to bleed - taking the tower discharge to the environment from 20-40% down to less than 2%. Major companies such as Honda and others are successfully using "reclaim" water for their facilities cooling towers along with other uses of water source for irrigation etc..! Learn more.
